2026 Northeast Ohio Chapter of ACI PROJECT AWARD

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

I.                    General Criteria

a.       Entries must be sponsored by a project participant (Owner, Designer, Contractor, Material Supplier (for project), Ready Mix Companies, etc.) who is a member in good standing of Northeast Ohio Chapter.

b.       Applicants can submit more than one entry.

c.       Entry must highlight use of concrete as a main principal construction element

d.       Project must be located within the following counties:

                                                               i.      Cuyahoga

                                                             ii.      Geauga

                                                           iii.      Lake

                                                           iv.      Lorain

                                                             v.      Medina

                                                           vi.      Portage

                                                          vii.      Stark

                                                        viii.      Summit

e.     Project must be substantially completed between January 1, 2026 and December 31, 2026.

f.        Entries must conform to Entry Requirements.

g.      Northeast Ohio Chapter of ACI will not be responsible for any damage or loss to entrant’s entry materials and reserves the right to use materials for promotional purposes such as display at meetings, on the NE Ohio Chapter’s website and at trade shows.

h.       Northeast Ohio Chapter of ACI Award Committee reserves the right to determine the eligibility of all entries.

II.                  Entry Requirements

a.       Completion of submission form (entry form and associated narrative, photos, etc.) shall be provided

b.       Entries must be received on or before October 29, 2026.

c.       The sponsoring member verifying that the project was substantially completed between January 1, 2026 and December 31, 2026 and shall sign an entry form.

d.       The narrative of the project not exceeding 500 words. The narrative shall include a discussion on how the project uses concrete as a major principal construction element. 

e.       No less than three (3) or more than five (5) photos

III.                Award

a.       Awards will be presented to one representative each - Owner, Designer, Contractor, Material Supplier (for project), Ready Mix Companies, etc.

b.       Free meal for 1 representative from Owner, Designer, Contractor, Material Supplier (for project), Ready Mix Companies, etc. at awards meeting.

c.       Winning entries will be invited to make a presentation of their project at the awards meeting in November 2026.

d.       The announcement of the award and profile of the project will be published on Northeast Ohio Chapter of ACI website.
